Hello, I’m John Hollyhomes and welcome to Holly’s Driving Tuition. I am an independent Driving Instructor and have been working in Ivybridge for 12 years. I am a patient and calm instructor, whose sole purpose is to make you a good, safe driver. I teach to a very high standard and my pass rate is high.
You can learn to drive in either a manual or an automatic car.
Learn to drive now, no experience necessary. You can do an intensive course over 1 to 5 weeks, or take your time and have weekly lessons with one or two hours per week.
After passing your test, take a Pass Plus course to improve your driving skills and this may also save on your insurance premiums. I also teach motorway driving and give refresher courses to those who have passed their test previously and need to gain confidence.
You will also be taught eco-safe driving to save on fuel. The Driving Standards Agency are including this into the practical driving test.
I also give tuition for Advanced Driving, for which you can take a separate test either for RoSPA, Diamond Advanced Motorist or The Institute of Advanced Motorists.
Help with Theory tuition is given with the aid of mock Theory Test papers and a free Highway Code book is give at the first lesson.
The cars which are used for Manual and Automatic tuition are Ford Fiestas.
